The wine producer from Torre de Roveri confirms its attitude towards innovation by widening its range of spirits. Recently Brandy 24 has appeared on the list, a Curtefranca wine distillate. Brandy is a general English term for a spirit obtained by wine distillation, that, before being bottled, is filtered while cold and refined through ageing in barrel. The latest creation by Villa Domizia is distilled in copper cauldrons with a discontinuous still and ages for 24 months in French oak barrels. The dark amber yellow shows off a crystal clear transparency and the olfactory notes conquer the senses with clean and intense, pleasing, harmonic aromas, spreading chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, dried plum and honey hints. The fine and full taste combines softness with persistent and strong flavours. Sweetness is balanced. The ideal tasting temperature is 18-20° in ballon glass.
To its soft and elegant character, Brandy 24 can be paired with dark chocolate or a fine Cuban cigar or Tuscan.
